Polyus says Q4 gold output rises by 7% to 804,000 ounces
MOSCOW, Jan 28 (PRIME) -- Gold production of Russia’s Polyus increased by 7% on the quarter to 804,000 ounces in October–December, the company said in a statement on Monday.
Revenue rose by 20% to U.S.$1.277 billion, while an average gold price stood at $1,482 per ounce.
In the whole of 2019, gold output increased by 16% to 2.841 million ounces, it said. Sales revenue rose 38% to U.S. $3.965 billion, the average price amounted to $1,403 per ounce.
Polyus confirmed its plan for gold output in 2020 at about 2.8 million ounces.
